How MomentGlow Hospitality Limited collects, uses and protects the information you give us — written in plain English, because privacy policies written to confuse people deserve the bin.

Who holds your data
The short version: we collect as little as a hotel reasonably can.
MomentGlow Hospitality Limited (company number 7841023, NZBN 9429058713402), registered at 337 South Road, Caversham, Dunedin 9012, is the "data controller" for everything described here. That means if you have a question about your information, you ask us — not a call centre in another hemisphere.
This policy covers this website and our on-site systems at the venue. It applies to guests, event clients, conference delegates and anyone who writes to momentglow@gmail.com. The terms of service cover the booking contract itself; this page covers your data.

We run a hotel, not a data business. The less we hold, the less there is to leak.

What we collect
Only what a booking actually needs.
If it's not on this list, we don't collect it on purpose.
Bookings & stays
Name, contact details, dates, payment records, and the ID check required by law at check-in. That's the lot.
Website
What you send through forms (name, email, message) and basic technical logs — pages visited, browser type, nothing creepy.
Gaming floor
Age verification records as required by our Class 4 licence. CCTV in public areas, retained per NZ standards, never in rooms.
What we never do
Sell your details, build advertising profiles, or email you things you didn't ask for. Ever.

Your rights
Your information, your call.
Under the New Zealand Privacy Act 2020 you can ask to see, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you. We answer every request within 20 working days — usually much faster, because the filing cabinet is small.
Ask what we hold
One email to momentglow@gmail.com. We confirm within a week and send a plain-language copy.
Fix it
Wrong phone number, old address, name spelled the way your mother spells it — we fix it on the spot.
Ask us to delete
We will, except where NZ law requires us to keep a record (tax and gaming rules are strict about this).
Complain
Unhappy with how we handled something? Tell us first — then the Office of the Privacy Commissioner if you're still unhappy.

Cookies & third parties
The short list of who else touches your data.
We keep this list deliberately short. Our website loads fonts and UI libraries from public CDNs (Bootstrap, FontAwesome, Google Fonts) — these services see standard technical request data but no guest records. The cookie banner on the home page stores a single preference flag in your browser; the details are in the cookie policy.
Payment card details are handled by our payment provider under NZ and card-scheme rules — we see the last four digits and the receipt, nothing else. We do not process online gaming transactions of any kind, because there is no online gaming here to process.

If we change something material, we'll say so at the front desk and on this page, with the date at the top updated. The current version always lives here — 1 August 2026, as above.
